Since her sacking made national news 15 months ago, Shepherd says she hasn’t been able to find a mainstream job.

Even after sending out 2,500 resumes, some as far as Idaho, some to prisons.
She’s lost custody of two of her three kids to her ex-husband. And she’s been evicted from two apartments.
Porn, she said, became her only avenue.
In her first month Shepherd, whose screen name is Leah Lust, has filmed scenes for five features. One is titled My First Sex Teacher. Five-minute snippets of her rubbing baby oil on another naked woman are also spreading online.
Occasionally, Shepherd sits in front of a webcam to do whatever guys on the other end of the Internet tell her to do.

A dad has criticised a sweet firm over characters on wrappers who look like they are having sex.
Simon Simpkins, a dad of two, said he was shocked at the "pornographic" poses when he bought Haribo's MAOAM sweets for his children.
Mr Simpkins of Pontefract, West Yorkshire, told The Sun: "The lemon and lime are locked in what appears to be a carnal encounter.
"The lime, who I assume to be the gentleman in this coupling, has a particularly lurid expression on his face.
"I demanded to see the shop manager and, during a heated exchange, my wife became quite distressed and had to sit down in the car park."
But Haribo hit back telling the newspaper the "fun" packaging was introduced in Germany in 2002.
It added: "The jovial MAOAM man is very popular with fans, both young and old."

Model in Malaysia to be caned for drinking beer

A Muslim part-time model will be caned next week, becoming the first woman in Malaysia to be given the punishment under Islamic law, after she pleaded guilty to drinking beer, a prosecutor said Wednesday.
An Islamic court in July ordered that Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, 32, be lashed six times with a rattan cane after she was caught drinking alcohol in a raid on a hotel night club in eastern Pahang state last year.
Prosecutor Saiful Idham Sahimi said Kartika will be the first woman to be caned under Islamic law after she chose not to appeal the sentence.
"This is the first case in Malaysia. ... It is a good punishment because under Islamic law a person who drinks commits a serious offense," he said.
On Tuesday, the court set a one-week period starting next Monday for the sentence to be carried out in a woman's prison, Saiful said. It is up to prison authorities to decide when to cane her during that period.
He said Kartika will remain in prison during that time and will be released "as soon as possible" after the caning is carried out.
Saiful said the rattan cane to be used on Kartika would be lighter than the one used on men, and its purpose was to "educate" rather than punish.
Muslims, who make up about two-thirds of Malaysia's 28 million people, are governed by Islamic courts in all civilian and Islamic matters. Most alcohol offenders are fined, but the law also provides for a three-year prison term and caning.
Non-Muslims are governed by civil courts, which also impose caning for offenses such as rape and corruption. Women, children and men above 50 are exempt under civil law. Caning, administered on the buttocks, breaks the skin and leaves permanent scars.
Kartika said earlier that she wanted authorities to cane her soon so that she can resume her life with her husband and children. Some politicians and women's rights activists have criticized the penalty as too harsh.
A woman and a man, both Muslims, were also arrested during a series of raids in Cherating, a beach town in Pahang state, on the night when Kartika was detained. Both were also sentenced to caning, but they have appealed.
Malaysian clubs and lounges typically serve alcohol and are not legally required to check if customers are Muslims before serving them.

Wine-drinking women have better sex

Time to head down to the pub - women who drink wine have better sex lives, according to a new study.
The poll of Tuscan women found that one or two glasses a day could boost levels of sexual satisfaction in the bedroom.
Experts from the University of Florence, Italy, used the Female Sexual Function Index - which is used by doctors to assess women and sexual health.
They found that the drinkers they quizzed at Santa Maria Annunziata Hospital scored higher than those who were teetotal.
The score is determined using factors including sexual arousal, orgasm, satisfaction and pain.
It ranges between two and 36, with higher scores meaning better sexual health.
In total, women who drank two glasses a day scored an average of 27.3 points.
Those who downed just one glass scored 25.9 while non-drinkers just 24.4.
The study's lead author, Dr Nicola Mondaini told The Daily Mail: "Historically, the aspects of wine and sexuality have been well known since the time of Ancient Greece."
"But the field of female sexual dysfunction is still highly unexplored."
The findings will be published in October in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.

Drunk woman let 7-year-old son drive

A woman who let her 7-year-old son drive while she was passed out drunk in the passenger seat has been sentenced to 20 days in jail, completing a recent trifecta of stories about 7-year-old boys driving cars.
District Court Judge Raymond Funk also sentenced 37-year-old Karen Koch to three years of probation and six months of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports Koch pleaded guilty to one count of reckless endangerment in exchange for prosecutors dropping a charge of allowing an unauthorized person to drive.
She has three previous convictions for drunken driving and did not speak at Wednesday's court hearing.
A neighbor called troopers in May after seeing a young boy driving a car with a passenger passed out.
The news comes in the same week when authorities investigated a father in Canada after he posted a video on YouTube of his 7-year-old son driving the family car along a country road, and the week after a 7-year-old boy drove off in his father's car in a bid to avoid church.
